Ashley and Joe

We spent the afternoon yesterday with Ashley and Joe doing their e-session. Ashley and Joe are getting married next month in Chattanooga at First Cumberlain Presbyterian Church with their reception at the Read House. Even though it felt like it was 150 degrees, we had an absolute blast, and I can't wait for their wedding!

Ordinary Miracle

I bought the movie, "Charlotte's Web" for Graycen's birthday a few weeks back and finally was able to watch it. If you haven't seen it, go rent/buy it now! It is a beautiful movie and is now one of our all time favorites. I also love the music they chose, one of them absolutely spoke to me. It is called, "Ordinary Miracle" by Sarah Mclachlan, who is one of my favorite music artists. Here is the beautiful music video, listen to the words, grab a box of tissue! It gives you a new perspective on life, a miracle itself.

PS. Garrett is in Orlando for a couple of days and Graycen and I are having girls' qualtiy time and Charlotte's Web is perfect for it! :)

Lovin' the ShootSac!

Our friend Jessica from Southern California, just launched an exciting new line of photography bags. When we're out shooting, it's really challenging to carry a normal camera bag with extra lenses, batteries, CF cards, bottled water, etc. So Jessica created ShootSac, a super-cool over-the-shoulder messenger bag that holds everything a photographer could ever need, and then some!

They're even super-stylin' and come in a variety of colors, which is no surprise to anyone who is familiar with Jessica and her work.

We were thrilled that Joy's shootsac arrived on Friday, just in time for Hannah and David's wedding this weekend. Check out these shots I snagged.

You're never too young for functional fashion. Graycen practices shooting in Grandpa and Grandma's back yard.



There's nothing like getting a little energy boost with a shoot snack. We discovered that the shootsac is also great for carrying shoot snacks.

Keri and Daniel at Laurelwood Farms

Keri and Daniel were married in a beautiful outdoor wedding at Laurelwood Farms on Signal Mountain in Chattanooga. Everything about their wedding was perfect, including the weather.





At the reception they had a great bluegrass band and this fiddler kept catching our eye. They were outstanding.




The reception was catered by Ron and the team at Goetz Catering, who always does outstanding work!

Silje and Crispin's e-session

On Friday we spent the afternoon with Silje and Crispin. They're getting married in Silje's home country of Norway in July.

They had me running all over downtown Chattanooga, but it was a blast! We ended the session out in the country with Crispin's dirtbike. What fun!

Hannah and David's e-session

The weather in Southeast Tennessee has been BEAUTIFUL lately! And we've been fortunate to take advantage with some great e-sessions. On Thursday we spent the afternoon with Hannah and David atop Lookout Mountain at Point Park. These guys are great!






Hannah and David are getting married this coming weekend! Contgraulations guys....can't wait for the big day!

Stephanie and Ted's e-session

A few days ago I spent the afternoon with Stephanie and Ted, photographing their engagement session at the Beautiful Westin Grand Bohemian in Orlando.
