More Disney Magic

We started out with Character Dining with Winnie the Pooh and Friends for breakfast and Mickey and Friends for lunch the next day, (HIGHLY recommended and bring autograph book, it was so fun). We tried to reserve Cinderella to dine in her castle, but it was 180 days booked up in advance :(

We did meet Cinderella, Belle, and Princess Aurora, (Sleeping Beauty):

Story time with Belle with kids from the audience as volunteers:

I think Belle was about to faint from the unbelievable heat, (j/k!)

Cinderella's Carousel:

Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride:

Mickey's Philharmagic Show:

Would you believe it...we were walking along and all of a sudden someone calls Garrett's name and there were Becky and Ryan (we photographed their wedding in Key West last year). We never thought we would run into someone we know of all the people there! It was so good to catch up and see them!

None of us have seen the parade before and it was so much fun!

Cinderella's castle changes colors as it gets darker:

Waiting for fireworks:

Garrett and I have both been to Disney when we were younger and we both have not seen the fireworks display...it was spectacular! We have been to the 4th of July fireworks both in NY and Washington DC and other places where there are big fireworks displays, but Disney's was definitely a winner. Set to beautiful music and surroundings, it was quite impressive, (keep in mind this is with a point and shoot camera!):

We stayed at The Omni Champions Gate in Orlando and got a great deal on www.hotels.com. Their pools are awesome with a lazy river...but the day we were supposed to be lounging in it, it rained :( Photo courtesy from Omni website.

At nights we went to Downtown Disney (free admission) and walked through stores and ate Ghirardelli hot fudge sundaes (YUMMMMMMYYYY!)

We got spoiled with turn down service the whole time there, (music on, milk and cookies...). So Saturday night, we returned to our rooms and and we saw this on our bed in addition to all the usual fun stuff:

YUUUMMMY! This was given and delivered to us from long time friend and wonderful event coordinator, Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours. She was coordinating a wedding that day and we even got to see her and visit for a little bit in the lobby. It was sooo wonderful and so sweet of her to do this as she was hard at work at an event and still thought of us! We love you Tracy!

A perfect end to a wonderful and much needed vacation.

How fun to see your Disney pix....I was one of those little girls like your daughter who absolutely adored Disney and still do. It's truly the happiest place on earth! Enjoyed the pix. She is a little doll :)
