Ashley & James's e-session

We're so excited to be working with Ashley and James on their wedding next May in Chattanooga. We recently visited nearby Barnsley Gardens for their engagement session.

Aren't they great! We can't wait for their upcoming wedding!

Elizabeth's Senior Session

Elizabeth's senior session was a blast! Elizabeth is a senior at Collegedale Academy. She and her mother came into the studio a couple weeks before her session and we spent some time talking about what she wanted and what was important to her and how we might be able to incorporate some of her favorite things into her session. And boy, did it ever pay off. I've never shot so fast and so furious and she went from one outfit to the next as we raced the sunset.

How fun was this! Congratulations, Elizabeth!

Avery's newborn session

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a photographer is when wedding clients call us back for their children portraits. We were so excited for Kathryn and David (and Paisley) and their precious addition, Avery.

Congratulations once again, guys! She is absolutely beautiful!

Adrienne's Senior Session

I really enjoyed working with Adrienne for her senior session. She is creative and full of life.

Thanks, Adrienne!

Valerie and Brian, married in Orlando

From the minute we spoke with Valerie and Brian we were excited about their wedding. They had a clear vision and an eye for detail and we knew everything about it was going to be exceptional. Their wedding took place at the Grand Bohemian, and I'm always excited about photographing at Kessler properties because of the unique atmosphere and ambiance.

Valerie's Vera Wang gown was exquisite!

And of course she wore Louboutins. It was so funny, when I entered her room and Val was getting her hair and make-up done, she jumped up and came running over and gave me a hug, and then started taking me around the room introducing me to people. And then she said, "Garrett, you must come over here so that I can make one final introduction. Please, I just have to introduce you to my shoes."

And since red is her favorite color, some cute little Kate Spade dancing shoes.

Brian, who you will meet shortly, scored some major points with this beautiful Chanel necklace for his bride.

Here's Brian, the guy who gave her the Chanel necklace. He waited patiently, while Val entered the room for their "first look."

The handsome couple.

Did I mention how much I loved her dress?

We had so much fun doing portraits, and I honestly can't pick a favorite (it's like picking a favorite child.... impossible!), so we'll just show several.

I love this shot of Brian!

So classic.

How stoic is Val's father as they prepare to walk down the aisle!

Unfortunately we had to photograph the entire ceremony through these small cabin windows in the back of the sanctuary, but we made the best of it and captured everything from the back.

Can we please do another portrait in the Church breezeway?

Their bridal party was fantastic! What a great group of friends!

Let's do a few more portraits, okay?

How fun are these details!

I loved their dance...

...and the way her dress flowed

Everyone!

Thanks, Val and Brian, for letting us capture your special day. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and we're looking forward to that "family session" next fall with your new puppy "Chanel."
