Christina and Albert's e-session

Christina and Albert met me downtown the other evening for their engagement session. We had so much fun shooting together. We've known Albert for years, but we're just now getting to know Christina and these two are great!

Take a look...

Congratulations guys on your engagement and upcoming wedding. We're looking forward to celebrating with you on your big day in June.

And finally, a special thanks to Alan Darmody for sending these two our way.

Dawn and Patrick are expecting!

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph our good friend and former Solutions Bridal consultant, Dawn, and her husband (and now also our good friend!) Patrick. They're expecting their first child, a little boy, in a few weeks. We couldn't be more excited for them.

They were so easy to photograph, though the session was cut short due to darkness. We had a great time visiting together and hanging out, and I can tell that they are so excited about their addition.

Congratulations, guys, we are so excited to meet your little one. Thanks so much for sharing life with us.

Jacqueline and Rick, married in Savannah

The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah is certainly one of our favorite places to photograph, and for that we have to thank our dear friends Brandy and Sticky, as they are the ones who first introduced us to the great folks at the Mansion. I must say, any of the Kessler Properties make for a fantastic location to host a wedding, but it sure is hard to beat the Mansion.

So we were thrilled when Jacqueline and Rick called several months ago and asked about our availability. They were planning a destination wedding in Savannah from their home in Virginia Beach.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The setting was beautiful and the weather was outstanding. Fortunately, because of their appreciation for architecture and history, we were able to talk them into seeing each other early and spending time in the city doing a pre-ceremony portrait session. These guys did great!

The ceremony took place at Forsyth Park and the reception was held at the Mansion.

The next two images are a great example of why it's important as a photographer to pay attention and visualize. When I saw the interaction happening, I quickly grabbed the shot and then circled around without them knowing and grabbed the tighter detail shot. I love the emotion in the second image, without even showing a single face.

And of course why not throw in a self portrait from the end of the night.

Once again I was thrilled to have Josh Milne shooting with me, and it was great to meet up with our friend Brian Tighe, who is on scholarship completing his photography degree at SCAD.

Congratulations Jacqueline and Rick on your beautiful wedding. May God richly bless you as you begin your new life together.

Natasha and Jason, married at Isleworth

Natasha and Jason were married on a beautiful spring day at Isleworth in Orlando. The wedding was spectacular. Every exquisite detail was planned and measured by Tracy and her team from Eventfully Yours.

Natasha was ravishing in her Kenneth Pool and Jason didn't look too bad himself. Together the pair was a vision of style and sophistication.

I was thrilled to have our dear friend from Idaho, Josh Milne, on hand to photograph with me.

Congratulations Natasha and Jason and thanks for letting us be a part of your magical day. May God bless you as you begin your new life together.
