We were thrilled when our friend from college, Laura, emailed and told us that she and Max were getting married! The day finally arrived and the lovely couple had a wonderful Christmas wedding, complete with extraordinarily frigid temperatures (for Tennessee, at least).
The bride and groom's first meeting.
I said frigid temperatures, right? These guys were soooo brave, especially Laura. I kept my coat on.
Laura's father (also their minister) double checking his message before the ceremony begins.
Laura is a first grade teacher. And all of her students lined the aisle as she and her father entered the church. It really was a special scene.
The wedding was full of humor, which really made things memorable.
I love this look during the ring exchange.
Married at last!
It was great to catch up with Jon and Karin and their new little bundle of joy. Actually, Jon and Karin were the third wedding that we ever photographed! Amazing how time flies!
Thanks Laura and Max for allowing us to be a part of your special day. May God richly bless you as you begin your new life together.

Wow... That's my home church. It was interesting to see how you captures it. I have always loved the ceiling and I really like how you worked it into that one picture!
