Amber and James, married in Cleveland

We were thrilled last week to photograph Amber and James's wedding in nearby Cleveland at Wesley Memorial and the Fillauer House and Barn. Amber and James are such a great couple and it's been a pleasure to get to know them over the past several months.

The first look...at the Fillauer House before the wedding ceremony. We really enjoyed doing this portrait session with them before the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony.

The Fillauer Barn.

The first dance.

Amber's grandmother floated across the dancefloor all evening long.

I loved these three little observers.

Amber wanted their honeymoon to be a surprise. So toward the end of the night, James made the announcement that they were going to Hawaii!

And then moments later, as everyone lined up for the send off, they came riding from behind the barn on their 4-Wheeler.

Thanks so much, guys, for letting us be a part of your special day. It was truly a pleasure! May God bless you as you begin your new life together.

Garrett-
The anticipation interpreted in the image where the groom opens the door to get the very first glimpse of his bride is priceless. Indeed, "a picture is worth a thousand words..."
Breathtaking!

Love the preview. We can't wait to see everything else you captured as we know we missed so much that day! It's quite different on the other side! I have my favorite picked out already from the preview- the 4th one down. We will chat with you soon. Thanks!
