Graycen's 3rd Birthday Party

We had a fantastic group over the other evening to celebrate Graycen's birthday...nearly 40 people in all! She had a blast and she's still talking about the night when all the people came over.

If I learned anything it's that hosting and accommodating doesn't leave much time for photographing. So a special thanks to Amber and Nathan Holritz for many of these pictures.

Joy made these great little gift bags for all the kiddies as well as for the mothers at the event, not pictured. She spent hours on this event, making it something that everyone was sure to enjoy. From large, colorful paper lanterns, to a cupcake tower, to custom chocolates, (chocolate dipped pretzels, oreos, truffles) a special shipment from Orlando's Chocolate Traditions. I wish I had found more time to photograph the full decor and ambiance. It was great!

The birthday girl sure loves cup cakes!

Time for gifts

A new bike!

More gifts

A new ironing board and high chair...checking it out with Benjamin.

Birthday madness

Graycen and Austen making bubbles, (for those who have asked, Graycen's birthday dress pictured here and the one from the previously blogged birthday photo session is from Wiggle Worm, children's boutique store in Chattanooga. The brand is Tea inspired from Africa (Ancient Elegance Collection)...love them!

A semi-group picture taken after about 10 people had left and a few others didn't seem to get the message. Oops.

The after-party

More after-party, watching YouTube...

The day after on her new bike, (and her newest tutu)

Thanks to everyone who showed up and those who couldn't but sent well-wishes nonetheless. It was great to see everyone and we look forward to the next time.

I can't believe it's been THREE years. What a long long way you've all come since then. She's beautiful. I can't wait to watch her grow (and Garrett defend her from all the boys that will beat down your door!)

There's nothing as cool as a kid on their new bike...especially when it's a pink bike and that kid is sporting her brand new pink TUTU!!

Bummed we couldn't be there to celebrate!
