We were super excited when Caroline's mom called us to talk about her senior session. During the consult it was obvious that Caroline already had specifics in mind for what direction she wanted to go with her pictures. "Vintage" was the theme that kept coming up.

Emma, high school senior

Emma will be a senior next week. It's hard to believe that school is already starting. When Emma and her mother came in for her planning consult she told me that she was a "jeans and basketball shoes" kind of girl. Well, I'm not so sure about that.

We started really early in the morning to try and avoid the heat. But it was hot anyhow. She did great!



















Jeans and basketball shoes? Yeah right. ;-)

Molly, high school senior

Over the past few weeks we've had the joy of meeting with and working with lots of amazing high school seniors. I really enjoy working with seniors because they're usually eager to do something fun that showcases their personality and whatever it is that they're passionate about. As an artist I really appreciate that.

We'll get things started with one that I held over from last year. Molly just graduated and she's headed off to Ole' Miss. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Molly and her mom and even her dad who pitched in and assisted with some of the lake images. They are a delightful, fun and talented family, and Molly is no exception.

Abby, high school senior

Ten years...

Over the past few years we've posted a lot of pictures on this blog of people in love. And occasionally we share personal images of our family. Well, today is a very special day for us. Today we celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe that 10 years have gone by so quickly. We've been fortunate to live a very blessed life, full of love and adventure.

Marissa and Aashim, married in Charlotte

We were thrilled to photograph Marissa and Aashim's wedding in Charlotte. I absolutely love the ceremonial customs and rich tradition of Hindu weddings. Combined with Marissa and Aashim's modern touch, it really made for a fun wedding day.
