Hilary and Ryan, married in Savannah

We were thrilled to photograph Hilary and Ryan's wedding in Savannah, Georgia, at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. Hilary and Ryan are an amazing couple and their wedding was extra special because Ryan had finished an 18-month work assignment in Sweden just a couple weeks prior. It was a grand reunion!

Little Emily getting made up.

Ahhhh, yes, Monique Lhuillier

Hilary told Emily that she could pick out any color for her mom's toe nails. Of course, she picked pink.

One of my favorite aspects of photographing in Savannah is the beautiful canvas for creative portraits.

Hilary's florals.

The gospel choir was a fantastic local touch to their wedding ceremony.

Just married!

While all their guests found their seats at the reception, Hilary and Ryan enjoyed a quiet moment for just the two of them.

The first dance.

A toast.

Bobby & The Aristocats rocked the house all night long. They were amazing!

How sweet is this? Surrounded by friends and family, when it comes right down to it, it's only about the two of them.

Thanks so much, Hilary and Ryan for letting us be a part of your special day. It truly was an honor. May Heaven's richest blessings follow you as you begin your new life together.

Magazines Galore #7: Southern Weddings

I've never seen such excitement and momentum as I have with the Southern Weddings blog. Lara Casey and her dynamic team have created a fabulous online magazine that grew so rapidly in popularity and demand, that just three months ago they launched their premier print issue. I was thrilled to attend their launch party in Atlanta, and it has truly been exciting to watch them grow.

This morning we are honored to have some of our work featured on the Southern Weddings blog. Libby and Jimmy's beautiful New Year's Eve wedding at Hammock Dunes Resort in Palm Coast was a fabulous event. Susie Weiss from Wonderful Weddings coordinated the event and the incomparable Brian and Richard from Flourish Productions did an amazing job with the decor, as per usual.

Thanks, Southern Weddings gals for your excellent work and your continual inspiration.

Finley and Stephen's e-session

We were so excited when Stephen and Finley called a couple months ago and shared that they were getting married. We had a great afternoon shooting around town and then heading down to the river where they did some climbing.

Thanks, guys, for spending the afternoon with me. It was a blast! We're looking forward to your wedding in June!

Little Mack and his parents

It's always special with a client invites you into their home. So I was super excited to spend the afternoon with Mack and his parents in Orlando.

I love this precious mommy-baby moment.

The family, including Sasha the boxer.

Mack has the biggest bluest eyes and the rosiest cheeks I've seen in a long time.

Quiet moments.

Thanks, guys, for sharing a little slice of life with me. Congratulations on all your happiness.

Jenn and AJ's wedding, Lake Mary, Florida

Jenn and AJ had a lovely wedding last weekend and we were thrilled to be there to celebrate with them. The ceremony was held at the Markham Woods SDA Church and the reception took place at the Lake Mary Events Center. The event was coordinated by Stephanie and Brandee of Blush By Brandee Garr.

The beautiful bride.

Love the reflection in the tinted window of the church "nursing mothers room."

Yummy! The cake, courtesy of the fine folks at Bake Me a Cake.

Who doesn't love a photo booth!

I was super excited to have our friend Jane Cato, from the St. Pete area, photographing with me.

Thanks again, Jenn and AJ for allowing us to be a part of your special day. It was absolutely beautiful and like we said time and time again, you two are an extraordinary couple. May God's richest blessings follow you wherever you go.
